1) Create Daily Deliverables
Having a specific deliverable each day will give you something concrete to focus on.
2) Schedule Fun First
Having fun scheduled into your calendar will eliminate resentment towards your goals.
3) Handwrite Daily T0-Do Lists
By writing something down you are 62% more likely to do it!
4) Set Timers
I highly recommend using a timer on your Apple Watch (that’s what I do) or pomofocus.io.
5) Have A Place of Solitude To Focus
If you cannot find a place to be alone and focus, try getting noise blocking headphone and play soothing tunes.
6) Clear The Clutter From Your Workspace
If you show up to a cluttered desk, you will spend your time decluttering instead of being productive. Clear the clutter from your workspace at the end of each work day.
7) Have Multiple “Whys”
You will never stay motivated 100% of the time, if you have a list of reasons why you do things, you can fall back on this list on hard days.
8) Create a Project Plan
By having a step-by-step project plan, you will always know what step comes next and never waste time trying to figure out what to do next!
9) Start With The Best / Most Fun Task
It is WAY easier to work on a project that already has momentum. By starting with the most fun task, you are more likely to work on the less fun tasks as well.
10) Learn To Self Coach!
The most successful people in the world coach themselves on a daily basis. By talking yourself through what you need to do, how lucky you are and why this task is great, you will change your own mindset!
